Kit and Ace

The art of dressing with comfort seems to depend these days on what gym kit you are wearing. Athleisurewear I think is the term. Frankly, summer is here, so get a life & get dressed after the gym with Kit and Ace.
Kit and Ace, a relatively new Canadian brand to the UK, have 61 stores worldwide, and last year opened 3 shops across London, and have hit Vogue’s radar for comfort dressing.
I fell in love with the feel and texture of their clothing, literally within 5 secs. Technical cashmere mixed with silk and cotton that you can throw in the machine.
I went to their new flagship store on Monmouth Street in Covent Garden for a fit & design session.
This is something anyone can book, it gives them good feedback, and you get that personal service on what works for you, and taking that look from day to night with timeless, classic pieces that become wardrobe staples.
Well priced, breathable and mostly spin & machine washable, with lovely copper details, either a button, zip or tag. The details & design on the clothing make it that more special.
I put on a jacket, that I know I will live in. It was like putting on the most comfortable piece of clothing ever – I literally would have walked out of the shop wearing it, were it not for the warm weather!
Each Kit and Ace shop is locally integrated, so where they can source something locally they do… be it tables, lighting, plant displays.
I love that it is not only about them, it is about what is around them – doesn’t that say something really positive about a brand?
Each Kit and Ace shop has a leaflet about the area, their favourite finds which you can take with you.
Covent Garden is Kit and Ace’s flagship store, and they have branches in Borough Market and Shoreditch. Go seek them out, indulge, layer, envelope. You wont regret it. New season clothing arrives as I write, and I want it all.
