Gracing the Saatchi Gallery from 28 October is the new mesmerising exhibition, The New Black Vanguard: Photography between Art and Fashion.
Curated by American writer and critic, Antwan Sargent, vibrantly coloured walls display fashion-focused photography from 15 incredible Black photographers.
The striking photos celebrate all aspects of Black culture, and show a reframing of representation in art and fashion.
The Exhibition
The exhibition displays a generation of image makers who’s contemporary work is as beautiful, as it is powerful. It’s truly transfixing from start to end. It is stunning. Room by room of colour, style, beauty and impact.
The exhibition features large-scale installations, to breathtaking photographs used on the cover of Vogue. A favourite section of mine was the blue salon wall presentation – it showed such fantastic range and creativity from the young photographers featured.
This is one exhibition you must not miss. Like us you will probably be looking for someone to go back with. Yes it is that good.
