My top 7 London spas |Where to book
Posted on March 13th, 2022
London has some of the best luxury beauty spas, most are within hotels, but there are also some truly wonderful independent beauticians.
Choosing my top 7 London spas has been a wonderful challenge and one of my favourite edits. I cannot think of a nicer gift to give someone.
Beauty has always been an interest. Having trained with Joan Price at her Face Place Beauty salon, I’m forever drawn to this world.
It is important to look after your skin and you should save up for that ‘super’ facial. Even if you only have one twice a year you will see the benefits.
Here’s my LLW list to inspire trips with girlfriends, mothers, sisters and even a bit of self-care.
1. Mina Lee London
Mina Lee London is a luxury facialist with a difference. Her little oasis of calm in Draycott Avenue is a secret I am willing to share.
My 90min treatment with Mina involved reiki, acupuncture, ear seeds, reflexology, radio frequency and an LED facial mask. I walked out feeling like a new woman. No more puffiness in and around my face.

2. Tempus Belgravia
At the end of last summer, I visited the medical spa Tempus for a hydra facial with Lenka. It sucked the dirt out of my face like I’ve never seen before. I still think back to this facial that truly cleaned my skin. If you have subjected your face to lashings of suncream, this is definitely a facial I would highly recommend.
Tempus Belgravia are offering you a 20% discount on a Tempus Regenerating Facial or their Fontona 4D. Use the code Emma20 at check out. Valid only if booked before 27 March. Tempus Belgravia
3. Espa at Corinthia London
When I asked around about London spa hotels, Corinthia consistently came out on top. People love it. You can buy day passes or specific treatments, either way, what a perfect gift. Espa at Corinthia
4. Aman spa at The Connaught
The only Aman spa not situated within one of the group’s hotels can be found at The Connaught. If you are after tranquility, this is where you will find it. If you book a spa treatment you will also have use of their beautiful pool. As an Aman junkie, the only extra thing you could wish for would be a beach. Aman Spa at the Connaught
5. Bamford Wellness Spa
The Bamford brand ticks so many boxes. The Wellness Spa in Brompton Cross covers three floors and offers everything from classes, to massages and facials. You may not be in their Cotswolds hub, but when you leave, you will certainly feel like you have been. Bamford Wellness Spa
6. Aire Ancient Bath in Covent Garden
If you are looking for massages and thermal baths under the bustling streets of London, this is for you. A place to balance the mind and body. The Aire Ancient Baths opened this year, and from the people I’ve spoken to, every single one who went said it was unbelievable. Supremely relaxing. A wonderful experience and good value. 7. Soholistic Spa | The Hamyard Hotel in Soho
The Soholistic Spa at the Hamyard is amazing. It doesn’t have a pool, but it has everything else: facials, massage, a steam room and a nail bar room (a fabulous experience is to take the room for a group of 4). I adore the Firmdale hotels. Kit Kemp’s eye for detail at every turn will always inspire and delight – and extends down to the spa, creating an air of calmness. And don’t miss the Warhol pop art in the nail bar. Catch it before it goes : Anya’s Nails
Book in quick before she closes this pop up at the end of March. A perfect treat ahead of Mother’s Day for polished nails.
Top London spas to watch out for in 2022
The Raffles OWO will open the first Guerlain Spa in London at the brand new hotel towards the end of 2022. This hotel has to be one of the most anticipated openings of the year.
