Every so often something hits my inbox that really appeals. This is what happened when someone introduced me to London Art Studies. Last month I listened to Ben Street talk Global Contemporary Art, it was fascinating, and I came away with so much to think about. I loved it - plus the perk of having a wander around Phillips before the talk 'out of hours' was a treat.
Moving on, Ben Street is giving another lecture on Tuesday 1 November, this time on Truth and Fiction in Contemporary Photography. How contemporary photographers deliberately blur the lines blur the lines between what we think we're looking at and what we actually see. Anyone who loves photography as much as me, should just have a look... do we blur the lines on what we deliver?
Check out London Art Studies, they offer a myriad of talks, courses, with some of London's finest lecturers - dip in and out as you so wish and never give up learning.
