As the new season of Bridgerton returns to our screens. Society Papers record that “The Ton are abuzz with the latest gossip and place to be seen” … Where you ask? At The Lanesborough hotel, where they have launched a Bridgerton Afternoon Tea.

An afternoon tea held in their beautiful blue and white Celeste room, natural daylight that has the right amount of Regency, that also makes it the perfect setting.

Each day ahead of teatime service, the room is transformed into a little wisteria wonderland. It’s a colourful, elegant and indulgent way to spend your Bridgerton afternoon.

Let me tell you all about it…

This is the first exclusive Bridgerton themed afternoon tea, with a specially blended tea and new pastries, it is a must for Bridgerton fans.

Indulge in the Bridgerton blend of afternoon tea, or you can go for a signature tea, or “Tea with a Twist”. My absolute favourite tea at The Lanesborough is the White choco chilli – a Chinese white tea. Light, fresh with a little kick to it.

Champagne or cocktails? Easy, I chose the Pall Mall cocktail. Made exclusively for the tea by the head barman. A light refreshing blend combining Hendrick’s gin, a white port balanced with a little bit of sweetness and edible florals. As you stir it around, the cocktail goes from white to pink – a heavenly delight.

Sandwiches of course, and little pastries were all names or references from the Bridgerton series.

A word of advice is that booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Be warned should you be in attendance, Lady Whistledown will report all that she sees. It would be a scandal to miss it.
