Somehow a spa day is beyond appealing. In an ideal world, I like to create my own Sunday spa routine, but often it goes out of the window. Discover the world of spa days in London, and there are plenty of places to find them.
London hotels are the ones that stand out. Yet ahead of Christmas I discovered Aire Baths in Covent Garden. It was pure joy and unbelievably relaxing.
If I was a visitor to London, I’d love the idea of my hotel having a spa. Here I am sharing my top 7 places where you can discover the world of a spa day in London.

Spa Days in London
The Berkeley Hotel
Bamford run their Cotswold Wellness Spa at the top of this London luxury hotel. If you are a resident at the hotel, you can then spend the day by their beautiful rooftop pool, whilst being pampered by this luxury organic brand.
Newsflash.. The Berkeley have just added to their luxury line up 111Skin treatments. This brand truly delivers on product, so very excited by this announcement in the spa.
The Lanesborough
I had no idea they had a spa and pool. They do, and it sits on the edge of Hyde Park Corner. I’ve been told by a spa addict that this is one hidden gem. Crowned Best Spa in London in 2022 by Good Spa Awards.
The Connaught Hotel
This is the first AMAN spa to be built by the Aman group outside an Aman hotel in the uk. Transported to a world of holistic relaxation and the pool’s black granite design is big and beautifully designed as you would expect. From the moment, you arrive you switch off… Mind, body, and spirit embodies this place.
Claridge’s Hotel
Probably the biggest spa opening of 2022, was the extraordinarily elegant Claridge’s spa that opened 3 floors below the oldest hotel in London. Designed by André Fu it is inspired by his visits to the Kyoto Gardens. I defy you to find a better oasis of calm in Mayfair. Read my blog post on the FaceGym workout I had there.
Aire Bath’s London
This is truly an experience that has to be had to be believed. I visited pre-Christmas and honestly who knew salt baths could be so incredibly relaxing. Bulgari Hotel
This award winning spa comes with a 25m pool, treatment rooms and a gym. I ventured in, and didn’t want to leave.
A spa away day…
Leaving London for the day of country air is a really good idea … I recently went to Daylesford Farm in Gloucestershire. We spent a half day in their cookery school with the Daylesford chef’s and Rhaya the resident nutritionist.
After a tour of the farm, we were in the kitchen getting some really good tips and skills on eating and cooking organically.
The rest of day was spent in the Wellness Spa. It was pure heaven. You are less than 10 minutes from Kingham station, so with no traffic to worry about it was a nice journey back to the city. This year Bamford are opening the Club by Bamford and if I didn’t think it could get better, it just did.
